January Movements

With all the bad weather hopefully behind us now.
We can all get back into scouting after the festive period.

January was a quiet month but here is what i got up to.

I attended the district exec meeting which was held at the 68th Inverkeithing scout hall.

I also went through to Xscape with the district explorer scouts to do some climbing.

I had a meeting with Brian Miller to discuss the scouts woolmer trophy which is getting held in February.

I am quiet glad of a quiet month as February looks a lot busier.

December Movements

I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.
As one year ends and another begins.
The scouting diary carries on.
This is what i had been up to do during the month of December.

I visited the 48th Cub Packs who had their Christmas camp at their hall.

I helped out with the Scout Post this year in which several groups had took on to raise funds.

I also attended the Inch Fellowship Xmas night meal which was held at the Elgin Hotel.
During the evening i presented Lee Symms with his 5 year service award.
As well as Alan and Eileen Bull with their Fellowship warrant certificates.

We had our District Carol Service which was held at the 46th Trinity Church.
We raised £140 from the collection which is going towards a new King Swing at Fordell Firs.

During that evening i presented Beryl Pratt with her 20 year service award and Catherine Ann Ness with her 40 year service.

I have also presented Linda Adam with her 20 year service award and also invested Scott Brown from the 13th Cubs.

To finish off the month i was in attendance at the 48th scout hall when Gordon Brown PM paid a visit to celebrate their 40th Birthday.
