77th Kelty Scout Group.
We also have 2 Scout Fellowships,
One is associated with the 41st Rosyth Scout Group
and the Inch Fellowship which assists the District.

Keith Brown MSP launches Managing Together
The Minister for Skills and Lifelong Learning launched 'Managing Together' at the Scottish Police College at Tulliallan at the end of last month. This is a programme of learning to support senior volunteer leaders and managers in the four uniformed voluntary youth organisations in Scotland.


Membership Subscription
Following discussion at its recent meeting, the Scottish Board is recommending to the Scottish Council that the 2011 membership subscription be set at £20.25, with a 50p rebate for prompt payment. This is in line with the subscription rate that will apply elsewhere in the UK.

Autumn edition of Pathfinder out now
The latest edition of Pathfinder should be hitting your doorsteps now. This issue focuses on communications and includes input from Scottish rugby legend Scott Hastings and Martin Raymond, head of Cloudline PR. Read it online here.

Axis 2010 - Saturday 6th November 2010
Registration forms for this event, which will incorporate the 100th AGM of the Scottish Council, should be returned to SHQ by Friday 8th October. Forms are also included with the current edition of Pathfinder - unfortunately a printing error resulted in a batch of these forms not carrying the date of the event, which we can confirm is Saturday 6th November. Apologies if you received one of these incorrect forms.

Professional Instructor Training at Lochgoilhead
The Lochgoilhead Centre will be running a new 14 week Professional Instructor Training Programme starting in November. There are limited places available on this course. For more details and to apply, click here.

Mad 2010
This event is open to anyone involved in adult training and will focus on people, processes, methods and skills so that we can 'Make A Difference' in adult training. It takes place on 1st - 3rd October at Tulliallan Police College - book your place now.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme Training
A DofE Expedition Assessor training course and an Introduction to the DofE Award training course will be taking place on 9th and 10th October at Scottish Headquarters. These are aimed at any adult in Scouting who is involved, or would like to be involved, in running the DofE Award Scheme as part of their Balanced Programme.
