5.9% to be precise
This was an old recruiting phrase we used many years ago.
but for the third successive year the Scout Section in Scotland has seen an increase in membership.
In the 2009 census the male membership of the section rose by 5.2% and female membership by 11.4%.
In total another 483 Scouts joined last year giving us a 5.9% increase overall on 2008.
So to all the Scout Leaders in our 503 Troops a big thank you and keep up the good work.
